A housing Project for the poorest of the poor, by philokalia Foundation.

Philokalia foundation laying foundation stone of two houses was held on 22/12/2024 in Vilangad, Kozhikode.

Philokalia foundation being built house on the land given by the Vilangad nuns (Thamarassery congregation) to those who lost their homes and land in the landslides 4 months ago.
Philokalia Foundation handed over the house keys to 4 Families was held on 19/12/2024 at Neerkkad, Kottayam. Puthuppally MLA Mr. Chandy Oomman, ward member, and other dignitaries were present at the occasion.

The 4 houses built by Philokalia Foundation on land that Mr. Peter donated (5 cents each) to the poor, and a person called Mr. Joji in Kooropada also donated 5 cents each to 4 families.
On 13/12/2024 Philokalia Foundation has started a new chapter. A tribal village was lost in the great flood of 2018. Having lost everything, after that they came to the forest at a place called Pothupara in Athirapally Panchayat and built a shed and settled down.

Both Central Government and State Government have decided to build houses for them under P M JANMAN project. Philokalia Foundation has undertaken the implementation of this project.

Foundation stones of 24 houses were laid in the first phase in the presence of Hon'ble Thrissur Collector Arjun Pandyan, District Panchayat, Block Panchayat, Gram Panchayat officials and other tribal officers.
