A housing Project for the poorest of the poor, by philokalia Foundation.

The Philokalia Foundation had constructed and provided houses to two deserving families in Pariyaram Panchayat. The keys were handed over and learning materials were distributed to 270 children during a motivational seminar held at the Philokalia Family Accademy on 7/6/2025.
Eleven families who lost their loved ones and owners in the Wayanad Chooralmala Mundakai disaster that brought tears to the eyes of the world's Malayalis were given the keys of the houses built and handed over with public assistance through the Philokalia Foundation in the third phase, and the documents of 21 houses were handed over. On May 8, 2025, at 4 pm at Pulpally Seethamount, in the presence of the Hon. Leader of the Opposition Mr. V. D. Satheesan, Sultanbathery MLA Hon. Mr. I. C. Balakrishnan, BJP District President, DCC District President, CPIM District President, CPI Secretary


Kerala Samajam Indonesia, which fully sponsored 2 houses out of 11 houses, Mr. Mukesh Jain & Family, Dental Care Muvattupuzha, who fully sponsored one house, and various political, social, cultural and religious leaders participated.

Philokalia Foundation handed over the house keys to 4 Families was held on 19/12/2024 at Neerkkad, Kottayam. Puthuppally MLA Mr. Chandy Oomman, ward member, and other dignitaries were present at the occasion.

The 4 houses built by Philokalia Foundation on land that Mr. Peter donated (5 cents each) to the poor, and a person called Mr. Joji in Kooropada also donated 5 cents each to 4 families.
On 13/12/2024, Philokalia Foundation has started a new chapter.

A tribal village was lost in the great flood of 2018. Having lost everything, after that they came to the forest at a place called Pothupara in Athirapally Panchayat and built a shed and settled down.

Both Central Government and State Government have decided to build houses for them under the P M JANMAN project. Philokalia Foundation has undertaken the implementation of this project.

Foundation stones of 24 houses were laid in the first phase in the presence of Hon'ble Thrissur Collector Arjun Pandyan, District Panchayat, Block Panchayat, Gram Panchayat officials, and other tribal officers.

Three years ago, in 2021, there was a landslide in Kootikal that shook Kerala. As his son's wife was pregnant, the son, his wife and mother went to the hospital. When they came back, the house was gone, replaced by a river. A philanthropist named Johnny donated 5 cents of land to this family near Koothattukulam Ramapuram. On 23/08/2024, Philokalia Foundation laid the foundation stone for their house.

Two children who lost their parents are now being cared for by their widowed grandmother. Philokalia Foundation is building a house for these children and their grandmother who are struggling to meet daily expenses.
